Recognition

Each day as the members of FPRA perform their work, they are providing a valuable service to their clients and employers through their counsel on a myriad of communication issues. Case studies are formed each day as members launch new products, communicate with customers, provide public information or deal with crisis. Many of these integrated programs are showcased each year at annual conference through the Golden Image Awards — an annual competition that is designed to recognize outstanding public relations programs in Florida as well as encourage and promote the development of public relations professionalism in our state.

The individuals recognized demonstrate the very best examples of innovation, planning and design. And these case examples provide other members with lessons in professional development that they can use to further expand their own expertise.

The association also bestows three association awards:

Member of the Year
The John Dillin Award for Professional Achievement and Chapter Service
The Doris Fleischman Award - the “Unsung Hero” award for Chapter Service
